Create a list of interesting, not-so-interesting, obvious, and not-so-obvious things about yourself. Examples are where you were born, where you were raised, how many siblings you have, your birth order, raised by a single parent or in a two-parent household, your ethnicity, the hand you write with, sports you play, musical instruments you play, singer, dancer, or puppeteer. Do you belong to a church? Are you an activist? Do you have a diagnosed and documented learning disability or difference or medical condition? Write it down. Do you speak a different language fluently? Add it to the list. There are scholarships for that.
At Springboard 2 Success (S2S) we help by frequently providing lists of scholarships throughout the year. Springboards College Advisor can assist you by reviewing your scholarship essays and providing critical feedback for improvement to increase your chances of winning scholarships. Schedule a call with our recruiter to find out how:

Make your list today and then search online for scholarships based on the list. Create a simple scholarship spreadsheet for tracking your research, progress, and deadlines. Add 5 columns: Name of scholarship, award amount, application deadline, progress, and essay (which will be where you link your essay). In the scholarship column add a link to the scholarship website.
Good luck, work hard and often and you’ll get the money you need for college tuition and other expenses.
